“Web 3.0 Online network solution” open source software project to kickstart your online network

Project description
The “online network solution” open source project is a base Web 3.0 online network web application that allows a thousands of entrepreneurs to quickly deploy online networks.

There are two outcomes from this project. Firstly, a generic Web 3.0 “online network solution” that offers social and commercial entrepreneur a base Web 3.0 online network. We have a specific open source content management system that we will use as the base of this project. This project could be maintained members of the open source software community, financial institutions, government or partners involved in our projects and opportunities. The open source community has built tools for hackers. These tools are largely complete. Some members of the open source community may shift their focus to making it easier for a broader audience to create solutions.

Secondly, a detailed guide outlining “How to build an online network in 90 days with US$25k”. This could empower thousands of entrepreneurs and accelerate economic development. The guide would provide a 90 day plan for assessing the market opportunity, company incorporation, grid computing, business systems (accounting, CRM, project management), data structures, business plans, and assembling each of the Web 3.0 online network building blocks.

The base Web 3.0 online network application will need to incorporate Web 3.0 online network principles. This includes semantic search, peer to peer networks, online communities, comprehensive user generated content, workflow management, scalable open source web applications and cloud computing power from Amazon.

How will this project improve the way news and information are delivered to geographic communities?
The ability to create Web 3.0 online networks for social, industry or political purposes will rapidly accelerate economic development. These structures are more efficient at distributing information, facilitating collaboration and matching parties in a community in a peer to peer framework. Wherever these Web 3.0 networks are used, they allow the exchange of unlimited information in real-time at virtually zero cost. If these networks can be built in less than 90 days at a cost less than US25k then every industry and community activity could be reshaped.

How is this idea innovative? (new or different from what already exists)
The creation of online networks is largely the province of large corporations. They can afford the investment in proprietary software and infrastructure. However, a variety of complementary technologies have reached critical mass. This allows all aspects of society to apply an “online network” structure, rather than a structure based upon channels. Open source software is free and Amazon provides a scalable hosting service starting at USD80 per month that can scale to service a global audience. Entrepreneurs need a clear comprehensive guide to show them how to build an online network.

What experience does MarcusCake.com have to successfully develop this project?
Marcus Cake is principal of Marcuscake.com and has 14 years experience as a venture capitalist, technology investment banker (mergers and acquisitions) and as a software entrepreneur. He spent the last few years developing a Web 3.0 online network that can be used as a base for different online networks.

Marcus’s primary project at Marcuscake.com is the launch of the Web 3.0 online network for the equity market. A revenue capable platform has been developed over the last few years. This has involved extensive use of open source software to provide content management of the online network, but also support CRM, project management, accounting and collaboration applications. We would use this platform as the basis for the “online network solution” open source project. We would inform the community of how we added small amounts of code to their project to transform a series of tools into an integrated solution. We would contribute our code back to the original communities and ask them to enhance them further with a “solution” objective.

Marcus Cake is passionate about applying Web 3.0 online network concepts to financial markets and economic development. The www.MarcusCake.com web is a means to share knowledge, provide forums for discussion and accelerate the transformation of financial markets toward Web 3.0 and economic development toward Web 4.0.
